Green Sugar Summit : 16-18 September 2019, Hyderabad

As part of this initiative, CII is actively working with energy intensive sectors like Cement, Paper, Thermal Power Plants and Sugar Industry.  I am happy to inform you that the response from Sugar Sector has been excellent and evoking great support from the stakeholders.

 CII is actively working with all the stakeholders of the Indian sugar industry, carrying out various activities as part of this unique initiative which has indeed evinced an excellent response, so far.

 To further accelerate world-class energy efficiency in sugar industry, CII-Godrej GBC has institutionalized Green Sugar Summit.  I am happy to inform you that the 4th edition of Green Sugar Summit 2019 is scheduled for 16 -18 September 2019 at HICC, Hyderabad, coinciding with Energy Efficiency Summit

Green Sugar Summit is an endeavour to bring entire sugar industry at one single platform where various stakeholders related to Sugar, Ethanol Distilleries, Sugarcane agriculture, engineering, Co-products, Renewable Energy come together and contribute towards world class energy efficiency in sugar industry.

The event would focus on the following: 

v  Latest global trends and technologies for improving the performance of Sugar Industries in India

v  Technical sessions on optimization of Cane crushing, juice extraction, Milling operations, Sugar Process, Co-generation, Utilities etc.

v  Energy Efficiency in process house

v  Distilleries � the way forward

v  Water & Waste Management

v  Case studies and experience sharing by sugar plants
