The Indian pulp and paper sector is one of the energy & water intensive sectors. The sector also offers tremendous scope for improvement in environmental performance. Hence, the pulp & paper manufacturers are increasingly on the look out for technologies and best practices for improving their performance and reduce the ecological footprint.

The pulp and paper sector in India is foreseen to grow significantly. To meet present and future demands, Indian paper industry must implement cleantech and process technologies to reduce environmental impact and production cost.
