New Ventures India (NVI) is a centre of sustainable entrepreneurship, specially designed to meet the needs of Indian entrepreneurs in the domain of sustainability. New Ventures India helps entrepreneurs overcome common business challenges; enabling sustainable businesses deliver environmental and social benefits in addition to economic development.

New Ventures India is a joint initiative of the CIISohrabji Godrej Green Business Centre, Hyderabad and the World Resources Institute, Washington DC. This initiative is mainly supported by the British High Commission under the Strategic Programme Fund. US Department of State as well as USAID support this initiative.

• Identification of sustainable enterprises
• Mentoring and technical assistance to entrepreneurs through an extensive network of financial institutions, business consultants and technical experts
• Connecting entrepreneurs with potential investors through Investor Forums and other targeted investor events.
• Encouraging the creation of green enterprises by engaging various stakeholders like investors and financial institutions, mentors, consultants, government, development institutions etc., in the new ventures eco system
• Access to New Ventures global resources through World Resources Institute (WRI)
• Engaging and partnering with local institutions to generate local capacity for sustainable enterprise support and to create long - lasting support networks
• Training programmes and sector based workshops for sustainable enterprises
• Investor Forum: This annual event is a platform where select green businesses are showcased before the investor community and the other stakeholders of new ventures eco system
