Introduction

Economic reforms initiated in the Country have paved the way for rapid industrialization resulting in pronounced use of resources manifesting in stress and strain to the resource base.

The need of the hour is to optimize the resources and rapidly adopt energy efficiency techniques and improvement mechanisms. Moreover with sky rocketing prices of crude oil, the need and importance to adopt resource optimization techniques becomes all the more acute.

In light of this, the 9th edition of Energy Efficiency Summit aims to trigger off a National Movement towards energy independence for the country. Started in 1994, the Energy Efficiency Summit has emerged as a mega brand of CII-Godrej GBC and is paving the way to enhance the National Encon Movement.
